FIGHTING GAME PROTOTYPE

This is a realtime fighting game visually inspired by YOMI Hustle. It draws from smash bros "flick" attacks but with overpowered contenders who can fly and attack with huge attacks.

It is in a very early stage and isn't very pleasent yet, but it is my first project in godot so i wanted to share my progress.

It has support for up to 9 players (8 controllers and 1 keyboard) the controlls are explained bellow.

There's currently 2 different character each one havin 1 skill and 2 attacks.
Each attack has 4 levels:

  • LEVEL 0: Attacks instantly and has no punish time, but is short in range.
  • LEVEL 1: Requires flick (as all the levels from here on) with no charge, bigger hitbox and punish time.
  • LEVEL 2: More charge, more hitbox more punish.
  • LEVEL 3: Even more charge, even more hitbox, huge punish.

Here the controlls:

KEYBOARD:

  • R: Restart game
  • SPACE:  Start game
  • ARROWS: Move and Jump (and direct attack)
  • Z, X, C: Attack1, Attack2 and Block
  • LSHIFT: Skill

A lot of fun, wish you could restart with a controller. It plays very well, movement is fluid.
